Türkei Arbeitslosenquote

The seasonally adjusted jobless rate in Turkey was at 8.6% in September 2024, the same as an upwardly revised 8.6% in August. The number of unemployed persons increased by 35 thousand to 3.1 million persons and employment rose by 95 thousand to 32.823 million, pushing the employment rate up by 0.1 percentage point to 49.7%. Also, the number of persons in the labour force went up by 131 thousand to 35.923 million. The labour force participation rate was 54.4%, higher than a downwardly revised 54.2% in August. Meanhwile, youth unemployment rate was 17.1%, up by 0.3 percentage point compared to the previous month.
