The number of unemployed persons stood at 401 thousand during the period, while employment rose 7 thousand to 11.612 million. Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, measuring job-seekers between 20 to 24 years old, rose to 12.13%, up from 11.64% June, marking the highest reading since August 2023.
