Ungarn Einkaufsmanagerindex Verarbeitendes Gewerbe

The HALPIM Manufacturing PMI rose to 51 in February 2025 from an upwardly revised 50 in the previous month. This marked the highest level since May 2024, mainly driven by a 1.3 percentage point increase in new orders and a 1.5 percentage point rise in output. Additionally, the purchased inventories index saw a notable gain, climbing by 4 percentage points. However, the employment index remained below 50, signaling a contraction in hiring, while the delivery time index also stayed in negative territory. On the external front, the import index fell by 1.1 percentage points, while the export index saw a modest improvement, rising by 0.8 percentage points.
