Eurozone Lohnzuwachs

Wages in the Eurozone rose 4.4% year-on-year in Q3 2024, the least so far this year, compared to an upwardly revised 4.9% rise in Q2. Wage growth slowed in industry (4.4% vs 5%), construction (4.6% vs 5.2%) and services (4.3% vs 4.6%). Among the bloc's largest economies, wage growth eased in Germany (4% vs 5.7%) and France (2.7% vs 3.3%) but accelerated in Spain (4.7% vs 3.9%) and Italy (5.2% vs 4.2%).
