Foreign exchange reserves in Singapore rose to SGD 507.6 billion in October 2024 from SGD 499.7 billion in the previous month. This marked the largest amount since March 2022 as increases were seen in SDRs (SGD 8.36 billion vs SGD 8.27 billion in September), IMF reserve position (SGD 1.73 billion vs SGD 1.71 billion), and gold & foreign exchange (SGD 497.5 billion vs SGD 489.7 billion). In October 2023, the reserves stood at SGD 463.4 billion.
