Dänemark Verbraucherpreise

The annual inflation rate in Denmark slowed to 1.5% in March 2025 from a nine-month high of 2% in the previous month. This was mainly due to softer price increases for food and non-alcoholic beverages (5% vs 5.7% in February), housing and utilities (2.1% vs 2.7%), and health (1.3% vs 1.8%). Moreover, decreases were seen in costs for clothing and footwear (-1.1% vs 0.8%) and recreation and culture (-1% vs 1.1%). On the other hand, inflation increased for alcoholic beverages (1.5% vs 1.2%), restaurants and hotels (1.8% vs 1.1%), and miscellaneous goods and services (2.3% vs 2%). Meanwhile, the core inflation, which excludes energy and unprocessed food, eased to 1.6% from a thirteen-month high of 1.8% in February. On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.5% in March, reversing from a 1% gain in the prior period.
